Okay, that's not all.
I said here I didn't know I was getting married on my wedding day.
Here's the shortest version of our story:
friends for two years
realized one day they were in love
a big wedding was planned
a big wedding was canceled
a surprise trip to Disney World turned into a wedding day...
Over lunch at a little restaurant in MGM Studios
Mr.Wonderful looked at me and said, "Let's get married."
Him: "No, like today."
Me: "The waitress had an engagement ring, maybe she knows how we can get married
(this is the funniest thing I think I have ever said
b/c an engagement ring doesn't mean someone can tell you how to get married in 30 minutes, but that was the first thing that came to my head)
Us: "Excuse me Amber (waitress) we want to get married, do you know how we can?"
Amber: "Yes! I was just telling my fiancée about this little wedding chapel where they have a Kiss Me Quick Package for $40, but you will need to go to the court house first and get your marriage license."
Us: "Can we get our check please?"
Yes, this is a true story.
We ran out of MGM, sped to the courthouse,
sped to the Little White Wedding Chapel,
we said, "I do."
We were both wearing flip flops (and mine were blue).
I just happened to be wearing a white shirt.
We had no wedding rings so we used rings I was wearing at the time.
I put Robbie's ring on the wrong finger.
We drove back to MGM and got our picture taken with Amber
and went to ride the Rockin' Roller Coaster.
The next day we bought simple wedding bands from a small jewelry store.
And that is why I didn't know I was getting married on my wedding day.
I wouldn't change a thing.
