This week I'd like to introduce Jennifer Weger. Her sweet watercolors are rich with color and nature.

When did you first begin creating art?
For as long as I can remember, really. I've always had a pencil in my hand. It wasn't until 2010 though, when I took a college art class and found my true love, watercolor.

What is your favorite/most sentimental creation you have made? Why?
|Foxy Love by Jennifer Weger|
That would have to be Foxy Love. It's one of the first paintings where I stepped out of my box. I was in a very safe zone of trees and bird silhouettes. I really wanted to push myself to create the scenes I've always had in my head, with woodland animals, forests, and starry skies. So I did. It was a really great feeling, like I can do this. I still love my birds and trees though, and there's probably at least one of those in every painting I do.

Is there a project you've always dreamed of creating? What would it be?
I have a lot of dreams, I would love to illustrate children's books someday. I would also love to design a line of room decor for children. From artwork, bedding, and curtains, I think that would be really fun.
